What IS Web-Kare??
Web-Kare is an online SNS (much like Myspace or Facebook) with a twist. As a user, you get to pick one of four guys to win the affections of. By poking around the site and prodding your kare (Japanese for "boyfriend") will grow to love you, and numerous events will be triggered.
But that's not all!
By gaining the trust of your friends' kare, you get a chance at the other three boys presented upon registering!
Although many girls focus on winning the affections of kare, please be aware that the main purpose of Web-Kare is to make and keep in touch with friends via blogging and oekaki -- "scribble drawings" to show your comradeship, appreciation, and creativity.
In May of 2009, Web-Kare was officially serialized in WINGS magazine as an origional storyline manga (Japanese comic). WINGS magazine can be picked up in Japanese bookstores, the WINGS official site, or on Amazon.jp.
